Shipping and Returns Questions

We have a 30 day no questions asked return policy on unused items subject to certain restrictions regarding freight reimbursement due to the nature of shipping batteries which are classified as a hazardous material.

Installed Batteries are no eligible for refund, please contact customer service for a warranty request.

Any Credit Card Disputes that we deem invalid will void all warranties.

You can book online or call/chat and we dispatch a installer straight to your location. Most of the time the fee is included in the price and there are no other fees except taxes. If the driver is close enough there is no mileage fee. If they are farther away there is a nominal mileage fee.

Most install and deliveries are performed within about 2 hours. There are times that the availability is impacted by demand or things outside our control like the weather. Rest assured we are coming as soon as possible.

Once the installer or delivery is in route we will text you a notification and map to track and communicate with the delivery person.

All can be returned to the original purchase location within 14 days with corresponding proof of purchase. Item must be in an unused and sale-able condition. Refunds for purchases made by credit card will be credited back to the card used to make the purchase. For Delivered items please contact info@1800battery.com

These items will require you to ship the item back to us. Depending on the issue we will send a prepaid return label. Please contact us with your order number and details about the product you would like to return.

We will respond quickly with instructions for how to return items from your order. Item must be in an unused and the return must contain our Return Authorization Number. Shipping cost is not refundable unless it is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

We can ship to any address in contiguous 48 states. AK, HI have certain restrictions which will be noted on the product page. Not all items can be shipped and some items cannot be sent via Air. All shipping promotions are limited to the 48 states mentioned above. When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.

Our Jumpstart Guarantee provides for the fact that the car or truck battery may not need replaced and only needs to be charged, reset, or another electrical system diagnosis. We use the latest in cloud based testing tools as well as the best technicians in the industry to determine the problem. If a battery needs to be returned or doesn't need installed the battery is removed from the order and replaced with the "Jumpstart Only" item fee for the diagnosis and testing.

No we do not send out paper in most order situations. The process is all digital. All we need is Order Number, Name, Phone Number, or Email to start a warranty check on mobile installed batteries.

We will charge a dispatch fee and possible a mileage fee. Our technicians are tracked via GPS so we know when they come to your location.

We also send a SMS with a map and email when drivers are in-transit to help coordinate delivery and installation processes. Please respond if something has changed as soon as possible. The longer the delay the more likely a charge cannot be refunded.

In most cases it will void the warranty and no refund will be available. It is because the average mechanic does maybe 100 batteries a year and we do 100000's of thousands of batteries a year. The batteries used by most shops have a lower warranty period and are not authorized by us to do warranty calls.

In rare circumstances we will allow it and coordinate with the shop to return defective batteries, but this cannot be done after service and must be authorized prior by us.

There is a fee that is charged for technician to come out and review the installation, check other charging components on the car and if the battery is defective we will waive that charge.

If the battery is defective there will be no charge at all for a warranty check. If the battery is ok then the charge will remain.
